Kid Rock called for peace by putting aside differences after the election results.

“First off, let me convey to my family, friends, and supporters that now is not the time to gloat,” the singer said in a video he released on social media. “We must remember that most of our left-leaning friends are good people, who want the same things in life as we do, but simply think differently on how to get there.”

Then, he shows scenes of small-town America, his concert, and the failed July assassination attempt on Trump. Rock added, “It is now time to be the bigger man, to extend an olive branch and unite all reasonable people of this great nation. God has blessed America, and together with President Trump, we will make America great again.”

In the video, Kid started with an ‘election reaction’ caption, dressed in a flame-patterned tracksuit. He begins to speak but then decides against it, dropping the microphone, grabbing his crotch, and flipping off the camera.

Trump won against Kamala Harris in the election and became only the second person elected to the presidency for non-consecutive terms. The rocker is a long-time supporter of Trump.

In a video posted on October 25, Kid spoke kindly about fellow Detroit rapper Eminem, who supported Harris. He said, “I love Eminem. We’ve been friends for many years. I don’t agree with his politics, but I do give credit to him and people like Taylor Swift for standing up and not being afraid to be vocal for that in which they believe. Thinking differently and having the freedom to do so is what makes this country great.”

Last month, Rock had said he would leave the U.S. if Trump lost the 2024 election. He expressed that he wouldn’t accept the country’s direction without Trump.
