Journey stopped their concert in Tulsa, Oklahoma, after drummer Deen Castronovo reportedly suffered a medical emergency. A fan video captured the incident. During the pause, keyboardist Jonathan Cain addressed the crowd from the stage.

Cain told the audience that the situation was still developing. He asked them to keep the drummer in their thoughts.

“We’re going to see what happens as this progresses,” Cain said. “It’s an unfortunate situation. We’re very sorry.”

He added that the band hoped the interruption would be brief.

“We’re hoping it’s only a delay, but please — I’m sorry. Don’t worry,” he continued. “Have your prayers ready. Have your prayers ready for Deen Castronovo, everybody. Thank you.”

The show resumed after a break. Castronovo’s drum tech, Steve Toomey, took over on drums. Further updates on Castronovo’s condition may follow.
