Golden Robot Records announced the upcoming release of “One Way,” a posthumous EP from late English guitarist John Sykes, known for his work with Tygers Of Pan Tang, Thin Lizzy, Whitesnake, Blue Murder, and his solo project Sykes, according to Instagram.
The label’s statement addresses the EP’s release date and how fans can access it ahead of time.
“Golden Robot Records is honoured to announce the upcoming release of One Way, a posthumous EP from legendary guitarist, vocalist and songwriter John Sykes,” Golden Robot Records said. “Arriving worldwide November 6. The EP is available to pre-save now via the link in our bio.”

The release underscores just how far Sykes’ influence reached across hard rock’s biggest lineups over the decades. His catalog with Blue Murder, in particular, continues to see renewed interest. Live recordings from the band’s 1989 tour still circulate and continue to draw collectors years later.
Sykes’ time in Whitesnake and Thin Lizzy remains a defining chapter of his career. That legacy persists through the musicians who shared the stage with him. Bassist Marco Mendoza, who also played in both Whitesnake and Thin Lizzy, is currently touring in support of his own material.
