A recent interview with Loudwire features Joe Satriani addressing speculation about his status with Sammy Hagar’s band.

“I’m writing and recording with Sammy [Hagar], preparing for two separate tours and I have art projects going on for the Wentworth Gallery,” Satriani said. “I just made a connection to do some collaboration with a famous artist that I’m really looking forward to. I’m always moving forward, I suppose. I don’t have time to pat myself on the back.”

Speculation about Satriani’s role in the band emerged when he was absent from Hagar’s Instagram video before a San Antonio concert last month. The guitarist’s comments have now confirmed his continued collaboration with Hagar.

His packed schedule demonstrates an ongoing commitment to multiple high-profile projects and collaborations with Hagar and other renowned musicians.

My Global Mind reports that Satriani joined forces with Sammy Hagar, Michael Anthony, and Jason Bonham. Their ‘The Best of All Worlds’ tour began July 13 in West Palm Beach, Florida. The tour concluded on August 31 in St. Louis, Missouri.

Blabbermouth reveals that Satriani has taken on the challenge of performing Eddie Van Halen’s iconic guitar parts. He aims to capture the legendary guitarist’s essence through carefully studied improvisations and solos.

The musical partnership between Satriani and Hagar has deep roots. They previously collaborated in the supergroup Chickenfoot from 2009 to 2011, producing two albums during this period.

Satriani’s official website announces his upcoming 44-date tour across the United States and Canada. The tour will run from September 21 to November 19, 2025. He will perform music from his album ‘The Elephants of Mars.’
