Joe Bonamassa slammed Meghan Markle on X over her fake aid to wildfire victims.

The guitarist reposted Variety’s news titled “Meghan Markle has pushed back the launch of her upcoming Netflix show, ‘With Love, Meghan’ due to the L.A. wildfires” and wrote, “How brave! You know thousands of people are ‘pushing back’ their breakfast tomorrow morning because they don’t have kitchens to prepare it nor homes to wake up in.”

After a fan commented, “Don’t be a d*ck, Joe. All of us JB fans were praying for you & your guitars & equipment collection during the fires,” Bonamassa replied, “I am being nice. There are a lot of very angry citizens in Los Angeles right now. The ‘royals’ don’t mean anything when you are face to face with losing it all.”

Another fan told the rocker, “And you whining about your guitars and bragging about your beefed up security as equally as ‘brave.'” Joe responded, “I’m not brave, I just did what I had to do. I don’t have Three Gate Strategies as PR nor would I ever consider myself important enough to ‘survey’ the damage. We are on our own. That has been made very clear Niall.”

Bonamassa confirmed his huge collection of vintage guitars was saved from the Los Angeles wildfires. A few days ago, he posted a photo of his Nerdville museum, which holds one of the largest collections of vintage guitars, during the ongoing fires and wrote, “It’s not in my hands anymore. A very hard place to be as a curator.”

“It’s my lifetime of work. I knew this day would come eventually but just not today. So far so good tonight but the situation is very fluid. A major thanks to the firefighters and first responders for giving it their all these past few days. Stay safe Los Angeles.. These are uncertain and unprecedented times,” he added.

According to The Independent, the fires have burned over 40,000 acres, including 23,000 acres in the Pacific Palisades and along the Pacific Coast Highway. Only 13% of the Palisades fire is contained. The Eaton fire has burned over 14,000 acres in Altadena and Pasadena and is 27% contained.
