Jared Leto recently posted an acoustic performance of an unreleased 30 Seconds To Mars song on Instagram, and asked fans if the track should be included in the band’s next album.
He wrote on the video, “The funny thing is—I wrote this song many, many years ago and played it live several times, but for some reason, I could never finish it. It’s called ‘Revenge.’ Should we put it on the new album?”
The band’s latest record, their first in five years, came out in September 2023, featuring 11 songs that were written during the pandemic. Many people in the comments were excited by the idea of another album in the near future.
Some suggested, “Jared, you should release an album of all the unreleased Mars songs!”
A few commenters mentioned other unreleased tracks they wanted on the new album. One wrote, “Also ‘Witness,’ ‘Save Me (Riverbed),’ ‘The Believer,’ ‘Cross the Line,’ ‘Old Blues Song,’ ‘For the Night.’”
30 Seconds To Mars is preparing for a summer tour where they will perform a mix of new and old material. The tour starts on June 21 in Kazakhstan, and ends on July 19 in Poland.
