Iron Maiden Announce 2026 US Tour with Megadeth and Anthrax

Iron Maiden have announced a major North American tour for 2026, marking a significant return to the region. The announcement was shared on Iron Maiden’s official Instagram.

The tour is part of the “Run For Your Lives World Tour 2026.” It will feature headline shows across the USA and Canada, including performances at major venues such as the Alamodome in San Antonio and BMO Stadium in Los Angeles. The band will also headline Louder Than Life, described as America’s biggest rock festival.

Iron Maiden’s official statement highlighted the historic significance of the tour:

“Run For Your Lives… North America! Iron Maiden have announced dates in the USA and Canada for the Run For Your Lives World Tour 2026. The tour includes huge shows in Montréal and the Alamodome in San Antonio, two of the biggest rock shows Maiden have played in North America.”

This tour marks a historic milestone for the band. “These upcoming tour dates will mark 45 years since Iron Maiden first visited Canada and the USA on the 1981 Killer World Tour, and feature some of the biggest shows the band has ever played there. The return to BMO Stadium concert in Los Angeles on September 25th will be the 25th time the band has played in the City of Angels. A history-making tour for sure!”

The tour will feature special guest appearances from renowned metal acts. “Very special guests Megadeth will appear at all headline shows, with the addition of Anthrax for the dates in Montréal, Harrison, LA and San Antonio,” the band confirmed.

The Run For Your Lives World Tour 2026 North America leg spans from August 29 to September 29, 2026, according to Iron Maiden’s official website. Performances will take place across large outdoor stadiums and amphitheaters throughout the United States and Canada. The tour will celebrate the band’s 50th anniversary with a special setlist spanning their first nine albums, offering fans a comprehensive journey through their legendary catalog.

Megadeth will serve as the special guests opening all North American headline shows, as revealed by Anthrax’s official announcement. Anthrax will join for select bigger shows in Montréal, Harrison (New Jersey), Los Angeles, and San Antonio. This lineup represents a historic collaboration of three of metal’s most influential bands, bringing together decades of thrash metal excellence.

The confirmed North American tour includes stops in Toronto, Montréal, Harrison, Boston, Bristow, Charlotte, Hershey, Louisville, Shakopee, Chicago, Los Angeles, and San Antonio. Iron Maiden will headline the Louder Than Life Festival in Louisville, Kentucky, on September 17, 2026, according to Louder Sound. This marks a significant appearance at America’s biggest rock festival.

Ticket sales will begin with a fan club presale on October 28, 2025. General sale follows on October 31, 2025. This tour represents a major milestone for Iron Maiden, as it marks their most significant return to major North American venues in recent years.
