Here’s How Elton John Said Goodbye To Larry King

Iconic British musician Elton John posted a picture of himself on Instagram which was taken during his appearance on the late TV host Larry King‘s show and bid the legend farewell by touching upon the unique personality he had.

Emmy award-winning television and radio host, Larry King has been known for the several successful shows he hosted over the course of his career which started back in the 1950s. King initially earned widespread popularity with his nationwide radio program, ‘The Larry King Show,’ earlier in 1978. He also hosted a nightly TV program named ‘Larry King Live‘ between the years 1985 and 2010.

Later in 2012, King started hosting ‘Larry King Now,’ which was aired on several streaming platforms until 2020. At the same time, Larry continued to host a political talk show named ‘Politicking with Larry King‘ starting from 2013 until his death. On January 23, 2021, Larry King sadly passed away at the age of 87.

Recently on Instagram, Elton John posted a picture of himself with Larry King which was apparently taken during John’s appearance on King’s show, ‘Larry King Live,’ aired at CNN. In the caption of his post, John stated that Larry was always a gentleman who treated his guests so elegantly. He also mentioned that being a guest on King’s show was a pleasure and an honor.

Here is what Elton John wrote in the caption of his post:

“Always a gentleman.

You treated your guests so elegantly.

It was a pleasure and an honor to do your show. #RIP”

As you might know, Larry King previously survived a major heart attack and a cancerous tumor in his lung. Unfortunately, he had to be hospitalized ten days after he was tested positive for Covid-19, and only two weeks later he passed away at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center, Los Angeles.
