Gene Simmons Reacts To American Idol Judges Who Rejected A Transgender Teenager For Not Being Ready

KISS bassist Gene Simmons shared a post on his official Twitter page revealing his opinion about a transgender contestant, Ace Stiles, who is only 16 years old in American Idol stating that it was not the right decision to send him home, and he’s star quality.

During Sunday’s episode of American Idol, there was a unique, talented, and quirky contestant who stole every audience’s heart with his story. Ace Stiles is a 16 years old singer who discovers himself as a transgender person at the age of 14 and opened up about his story throughout his journey to self-discovery.

During the interview prior to his performance, Ace revealed a traumatic experience at the time when he was not allowed to use either the men’s or women’s restroom during the rehearsals for a play. While opening up about all of the obstacles in his way, Ace sounded strong and mature beyond his age.

Here is what Stiles said:

“They made me change in the closet. It wasn’t fun and made me cry but it’s chill.”

After seeing the performance of Ace Stiles, Gene Simmons shared a post on his official Twitter page stating that Ace’s presence on stage is completely unique and expressed how impressed he is by Stiles’ performance. Along with this, Simmons stated that one of the judges, Luke Bryan was wrong and Ace Stiles is definitely a star.

Here is what Simmons said:

“Watching American Idol and saw a revaluation. A truly unique presence!. Ace Stiles. I was completely blown away by this 16-year old (!!!) human being. Luke Bryan is wrong Ace Stiles is a Star!!!”

Later on, Gene Simmons shared the video of Ace Stiles’ performance and criticized all of the judges that is Luke Bryan, Katy Perry, and Lionel Richie for not being able to see the star quality of Ace Stiles in addition to stating that the judges were wrong sending him home.

“None of the judges saw the Star quality of ⁦⁦Ace StilesThey are wrong! See and hear for yourself!”
