Gene Simmons Gives Advice To Elon Musk For His SNL Appearance With Miley Cyrus

KISS bassist Gene Simmons shared a post on his official Twitter page showing support for the Tesla CEO and SpaceX chief engineer Elon Musk after he was made fun of by Saturday Night Live cast members prior to his appearance along with the pop star Miley Cyrus.

As some of you might know, the ultimate business magnate Elon Musk is to host the Saturday Night Live on May 8, along with the musical guest Miley Cyrus. After the announcement was made last month that it’s Musk who is going to be the host of the show, he actually received a backlash from the SNL cast members a few times.

It first started when SNL cast member Aidy Bryant shared a Bernie Sanders tweet on her Instagram stories after the announcement, which revealed the immense gap between the rich and poor in the United States of America. Naturally, some thought Bryant’s post was aiming at Musk since Forbes named him the world’s richest person earlier this year with a net worth of $199.9 billion as of February.

Here is what was said in the tweet:

“The 50 wealthiest people in America today own more wealth than the bottom half of our people. Let me repeat that because it is almost too absurd to believe: the 50 wealthiest people in this country own more wealth than some 165 million Americans. That is a moral obscenity.”

Another cast member named Bowen Yang also showed an attitude towards the upcoming guest when Elon Musk shared a post on his official Twitter page expressing his curiosity about Saturday Night Live being live. After seeing Musk’s post, Yang shared the tweet on his Instagram stories, asking the intentions of his question.

Here is what Musk said:

“Let’s find out just how live Saturday Night Live really is.”

Here is what Yang said:

“what the (expletive) does this even mean”

Since there were several other incidents where the Tesla CEO received backlash, mostly unnecessarily, Gene Simmons shared a post on his official Twitter page, showing support for Elon Musk. Furthermore, Simmons gave Musk a piece of advice and stated that he should just ignore the haters while receiving this amount of criticism.

Here is what Simmons said:

“Ignore the haters…..Elon Musk hosting ‘SNL’: Tesla CEO shares skit ideas, cast mocks him”
