Flea Clears The Air About Overpriced Red Hot Chili Peppers Tickets
Red Hot Chill Peppers’ Flea replied to a disappointed fan on Twitter and stated that the assumed ticket prices are not correct and that they haven’t announced them yet.
RHCP announced their tour with an Oscars-worthy video on September 24. In the video, Flea and Anthony Kiedis suited up and pretended to be news anchors, and Chad Smith was the weatherman. They interviewed John Frusciante and revealed that they will go on a world tour in 2022 summer.
The band revealed the tour stops with a funny video a couple of days ago and stated that the ticket sales will be announced on October 8 for North America and October 13 for UK and EU countries.
The fans are very excited to see the band after two long years of pandemic restrictions, and they are eager to purchase the tickets as soon as they drop. However, before the tickets were released for sale in North America, a fan took a screenshot of the prices, and another fan expressed how high the prices are.
Here is what they said:
“Wow. Red Hot Chili Peppers, these ticket prices are outrageous. You don’t have a rich fanbase, and we are still in a pandemic smh.”
Flea replied to the fan saying:
“Hey April, those are not real prices. I don’t know what that is but, it has nothing to do with us. We haven’t even announced prices yet.”
The ticket prices that disappointed the fan were around $3,300. However, the North America shows’ tickets are now available for purchase, and the prices start from $44 and go up to $695 for VIP tickets.
