Elton John Calls Ed Sheeran A ‘Big Mouth’ For Revealing His Secret Project

Sir Elton John showed his reaction to his friend and musician, Ed Sheeran, during a recent interview with NME after spoiling their new unknown project.

The relationship between Elton John and Ed Sheeran is one of the remarkable ones in the rock community. Besides being close friends, they also collaborated to perform in many songs together.

Earlier this month, Sheeran revealed in an interview that he and John are going to release a new duet song for Elton’s iconic ‘Step Into Christmas’ song, which was released back in 1973 with ‘Goodbye Yellow Brick Road’ record.

However, it seems like the plan was to keep it a secret so Ed shouldn’t have revealed the news at all. In a recent conversation with NME, John slammed Sheeran by stating that he has a big freaking mouth for revealing their secret project.

Furthermore, Elton pointed out that the song should have been out for a long time, but unfortunately, they couldn’t finish it yet. As the singer said, there are lots of works to be done to release the song. While the legendary singer was stated that he can not give any more information about the song, he also mentioned that the song might be a hit record if they have done the correct things.

Elton John slammed Ed Sheeran for leaking their project:

“Yeah, he let the cat out of the bag didn’t he? I was sworn to secrecy and then big mouth fucking Sheeran goes to the Netherlands! It’s supposed to come out – we haven’t finished it yet, so there’s still work to be done.

I can’t say any more than that because it’s in his hands. We’ve got the sausage roll man to deal with, haven’t we? We’ve got LadBaby to deal with! Once we bump him off, we might have a clear path to a hit record. He seems to have the monopoly on Christmas records. And good for him!”

Later in the conversation, Elton John also talked about the upcoming projects and said that he doesn’t interested in his own past and wants to write and hear new stuff all the time.
