Duff McKagan’s Daughter Mae Makes Her Runway Debut And Looks Breathtaking In The Show
Guns N’ Roses bassist Duff McKagan‘s daughter Mae shared a post on her official Instagram page revealing a video from her first-ever runway show. According to the post, the 21-year-old model hit the runway for a Kim Shui show, and it is safe to say that she looked stunning.
After having two marriages that ended with divorce, Duff McKagan married Susan Holmes on August 28, 1999. Today, the couple has two daughters named Grace and Mae Marie. The family now lives in Seattle, and they always support each others’ works, as seen on their social media platforms.
The young model Mae is often referred to as an ‘insta-model.’ This is because she often collaborates with brands through her social media accounts, especially on Instagram, where she has over 100k followers. In addition to this, the-21-year-old does photoshoots for make-up and clothing brands, such as Pat McGrath and Sandy Liang.
However, Mae had never gotten the opportunity to walk a runway before. This might be because it’s pretty different than a photoshoot where the mistakes can be corrected, but the runway shows it all. Although many ‘insta-models’ refrain from hitting the runway because most don’t do a great job, Mae proved every hater wrong by slaying that runway like a supermodel.
Recently, Mae Marie McKagan shared a video on her official Instagram page and shared footage of her first runway show ever. In the show, she walked for the brand Kim Shui that celebrities like Megan Thee Stallion, Emily Ratajkowski wear very often. As seen in the video, the young model showed up in a gorgeous signature dress that was completed with a cowboy hat.
In her IG post, Mae captioned:
“My first show ever! Thank you so much Kim Shui Studio for including me.”
Mae McKagan’s father, Duff McKagan, posted a comment under the post to show his support. Following that, her musician sister Grace McKagan commented as well. With their words, the father and daughter praised Mae and showed how proud they are.
Mae’s father Duff McKagan commented:
Her sister Grace also supported Mae by commenting:
“SURREAL moment. I’m so proud of you.”
There’s no doubt that Mae killed the runway with her walk and proved everybody who thought of her as a model who can only do photoshoots wrong. Her followers also seem to think that the young model has a bright future ahead of her.
