This year, the rock and metal world has been shaken by the news of reunion shows. We are, of course, delighted with this, just sitting back and waiting for the following exciting news. Most recently, another one came from Twisted Sister. Yes, Dee Snider has finally approved; the band will perform a reunion show!

“Looking forward to our induction into the Heavy Metal Hall of Fame on January 26, 2023, in LA,” the guitarist of the band’s classic lineup, Eddie Ojeda, initially wrote on Twitter. Snider replied, “Looking forward to playing together for the first time since 2016… especially the rehearsal!”

Along with this tweet, Snider also published news about the band’s upcoming reunion concert. Twisted Sister had ended its career as a touring act and seemed determined not to perform together except on special occasions. The reunion show will take place at the Metal Hall of Fame Charity Gala on January 26. The original band members will be inducted into the Metal Hall of Fame at the Canyon Club in Agoura Hills, California.

In 2015, drummer A.J. Pero died of heart failure. Not long after this sad news, the remaining band members announced they would go on a farewell tour. Following the tour, they said they had closed this chapter of their lives by giving their last concert on November 12, 2016, in Monterrey. Twister Sister fans are indeed excited to see the surviving members rock the stage one more time.
