David Lee Roth Releases New Song ‘Pointing At The Moon’

Former Van Halen frontman David Lee Roth shared a post to announce his latest work, ‘Pointing At The Moon,’ with a painting of the same theme on his official Twitter account. Roth’s song received positive reviews in the tweet’s reply section and on YouTube.

David Lee Roth parted ways with Van Halen in 1985 to pursue a solo musical career even though they were very famous and popular back then. The singer released his debut solo album entitled ‘Eat ‘Em and Smile’ on July 7, 1986, which got critical acclaim by hitting the charts worldwide. The success was followed by many other singles and records, which proved that he could remain famous after he departed from Van Halen.

Moreover ‘Diamond Dave,’ his sixth and latest record, was dropped on July 8, 2003, and Roth hasn’t announced the upcoming album since then. The fans have been waiting for years to hear a statement about that. Still, they could hope for a new one with Van Halen. After ‘A Different Kind of Truth,’ it turned into another disappointment because they disbanded following Eddie Van Halen’s death without any other work.

In his latest tweet, Roth revealed the release of ‘Pointing At The Moon’ with a painting as a notable and talented visual artist whose works became an inspiration for many young artists and fascinated his fans who only knew his musical talent. Along with the song’s well-crafted sounds and lyrics, his usage of red, orange, yellow, green, and black made it another Roth masterpiece. It seems that his passion for music and art will never end.
