David Crosby Explains What He Thinks About David Bowie As He Recalls How They First Met

The vocalist and co-founder of The Byrds and Crosby, Stills & Nash, David Crosby responded to one of his fans’ tweets on Twitter wondering the details of his relationship with the late icon David Bowie and revealed his real opinions on Bowie and his music.
As you might know, the 79-year-old rock musician David Crosby often takes his Twitter account to answer the most wondered questions about himself and his music as well as revealing his personal opinions on social and political matters.
Recently on Twitter, one of Crosby’s fans asked the musician to share details of his relationship with late star David Bowie and clarified whether they were good friends or not. In his response to the fan’s question, David Crosby mentioned that he wished to be friends with Bowie, however, he only knew him thanks to a mutual friend.
Apparently, Pink Floyd star David Gilmour was the mutual friend that introduced Crosby to David Bowie. Crosby also stated that Bowie was a really nice man who was ‘intelligent as hell.’

“Croz, how was your relation with David Bowie? You guys were friends?“
To which Crosby responded:
“I wish …no I only know him through our mutual friend David Gilmour…nice man …intelligent as hell”
