Dave Mustaine And Peter Criss Are Going To Be Featured In John 5’s Upcoming LP

Former David Lee Roth and current Rob Zombie guitarist John 5 recently spoke to Marci Wiser for the 95.5 KLOS radio station and gave some details about his upcoming LP named ‘Sinner‘ which will be released this year.
As you probably know, John 5 is often mentioned in relation to his career with Van Halen’s former frontman David Lee Roth, Marilyn Manson, and current tenure with Rob Zombie. Just a week ago, Zombie had announced that they have gotten back in the studio to record some new material but it seems like John 5 can multitask.
He has been working really hard on his upcoming LP, ‘Sinner,’ which will be released on Halloween this year. During a recent interview, the guitarist gave some details about the record and said that it’s all instrumental while describing it as ‘the crazy stuff that I do.’ He revealed that the record features original KISS drummer Peter Criss and a metal icon.
In his recent interview, John 5 dropped the bombshell that he got to collaborate with Megadeth co-founder Dave Mustaine on his new record and it turned out ‘super cool.’ He said that Mustaine sounds amazing and that it turned out better than he could have ever imagined.
Here’s what John 5 said during the interview:
“I’m very excited about it. It’s all instrumental, like the crazy stuff that I do. We have Peter Criss playing drums on ‘Georgia On My Mind’ and we just got it finished yesterday — hopefully, nobody’s upset I’m gonna talk about it — but we have Dave Mustaine doing a little vocal thing ’cause, we have these little vocal hooks in each song. So it’s super cool. And Mustaine did it and it sounds so good. I love Megadeth so much, so I was, like, ‘Oh my God. We’ve gotta see if Mustaine will do it’ and he kills it.”
