During a recent appearance on Zach Sang Show, Damiano David revealed that he is afraid to make a record without Måneskin.

“Yeah, the first… because from me saying I want to make an album and me starting to make the album, it was 5 days,” the singer replied when asked whether it was scary to make a solo album. “So, I didn’t have time to get scared.”

He went on to say, “5 days after, I was in a huge house in West Hollywood alone and I just had a bunch of songwriting session scheduled and I was like, ‘Okay, I guess I have to show up and just do it. I was very uncomfortable at the beginning. I was very uncomfortable and the fake it till you make it mindset really helped me.”

“I was scared. I wanted to go back at one point. I was like, ‘What am I even doing? Why am I doing an album on my own? Am I ready? Am I able to do it? Do I like too many things? Is the album going to sound too crazy?'” David revealed.

The vocalist added, “And then, at one point, I was like that’s exactly what I had to do and also sh*t started happening. Like Labrinth showed up. I had sessions with crazy people. Unfortunately, they didn’t make it to the record because they were a**holes but I worked with crazy people guys.”

David began his solo music career with a single, ‘Silverlines,’ produced by Labrinth, released on September 27. His second single, ‘Born with a Broken Heart,’ came out the next month.

In a September interview on Radio RMF FM, the rocker addressed whether Måneskin has ended now that he’s pursuing a solo career. He said, “We’re good. I can call them now if you want.” When the host said he could if he wanted, David responded, “I think they’re sleeping.”

Then, the host asked again, “So, you’re gonna come back to the stage?” “Yes, of course,” Damiano noted in his response.

Damiano is starting his first solo world tour in 2025. The tour will visit many countries, including Switzerland, France, Germany, Spain and the Netherlands.
