Alicia Taylor shared an emotional message about her marriage to Slipknot vocalist Corey Taylor while preparing for their wedding anniversary date night in comments posted via Instagram.
The post marked a reflection on their time together as a couple. Alicia Taylor discussed the challenges and growth they have experienced during their years of marriage.
“Anniversary date night,” Alicia Taylor wrote. “Crazy that we’ve been together for nine years and married for seven.”
“As anyone in a long term relationship will understand, it’s been a whirlwind of ups, downs, things going sideways, and everything in between,” she continued. “This man and I have been through breathtaking adventures, uncomfortable but much needed growth as individuals, tragedy, wins and failures.”
She added that their relationship had taught them an important lesson. “Through it all, we have had to choose to turn toward each other— which in turn has taught us that the beautiful thing about the human experience is the love and relationships we hold and nurture, and the gratitude for those that do the same for us.”
Corey Taylor also posted his own message for the occasion. “I’m lost without her,” he wrote. “I’ll always find her. In this life and every life after. L’adorilust, my Queen. Thank you for marrying me — Husband.”

Corey Taylor and Alicia first connected in 2017, when Corey reached out to her to tour after seeing her performance group, Cherry Bombs, on a Buckcherry run. The connection was immediate and intense as they built the tour together. Two years later, in April 2019, Corey proposed, and the couple married in October 2019 in their hometown of Las Vegas, Nevada.
Alicia Dove is best known as the founder of Cherry Bombs, a female-led performance group that blends dance, fire artistry, and theatrical storytelling. She works as a professional dancer and member of the all-girl dance group. Corey Taylor is the lead vocalist of the heavy metal band Slipknot and also fronts the rock band Stone Sour as lead vocalist and guitarist.
Corey has spoken openly about his feelings for Alicia, calling her his best friend, confidant, and everything he ever wanted. The couple do not have children together, though Corey has children from previous relationships. Alicia has embraced her role within their blended family while respecting everyone’s privacy.
Corey’s solo career has also developed alongside his work with Slipknot. He released his debut solo album, “CMFT”, in October 2020 via Roadrunner Records, followed by his second solo album, CMF2, on September 15, 2023, through BMG Rights Management.
