Chris Cornell’s Widow Vicky Reveals That There Is Much More Music From Chris On The Way

Chris Cornell’s widow Vicky Cornell spoke in a recent int interview with The Rizzuto Show and talked about the possibility of releasing a new album of Chris.

As you might recall, the Cornell family released the fifth album of Chris in December 2020, named ‘No One Sings Like You Anymore, Vol. 1,’ that features the 10 unreleased covers of Chris, including John Lennon’s ‘Watching the Wheels’ and Prince’s ‘Nothing Compares 2 U.’

In the conversation, Vicky mentioned that Chris was the one who mastered and sequenced this album and revealed that it was made by Chris all alone from the start to the beginning.

Furthermore, Vicky confirmed that they will be releasing the second version of this album, but according to her, Chris only mastered these songs, unlike the first version. Also, Vicky pointed out that Chris left them a lot of music before his death.

Here is what Vicky Cornell said:

“There is a volume two. The thing with this volume one, though, that makes it special is that he mastered it, he sequenced it — this is all Chris from beginning to end. And the other one was mastered, not sequenced, volume two.

And then, because he was just such a prolific writer, we’re blessed, because he has left us lots of music. Not in completely finished form, but there’s enough to work with, and the Cornell stamp is all over it. So that’s really special. So there’s a lot of music.”
