The vocalist emphasized the album’s commitment to authentic death metal. He rejected modern production trends in his statement.

“Pure 100% REAL Death Metal. No fillers, no over processing, no modern tricks or bullshit. Just Death Metal,” he continued. “You’ll be getting more info on singles, release date, and tour info at the beginning of 2026!”

The new album marks a significant milestone for the veteran death metal act. It continues their tradition of uncompromising heaviness. The Mosh reports that the 15th studio album is currently being finalized with mixing underway. A planned release in 2026 is expected. This project follows the band’s 2024 release “Killing For Revenge,” demonstrating their continued commitment to delivering authentic death metal to their fanbase.

The album will be released through Metal Blade Records. The label has supported the band throughout their career. Mark Lewis, known for his work with prominent metal acts, is handling the mixing duties. He ensures the album maintains the heavy, unpolished sound that Six Feet Under fans expect.

Brave Words & Bloody Knuckles noted that Barnes described the new material as “incredibly heavy.” He emphasized that the band has rejected any modern production techniques that might soften their signature brutal sound. This approach reflects Six Feet Under’s unwavering dedication to the death metal genre without compromise.

Fans can expect further announcements regarding singles, the exact release date, and tour information at the beginning of 2026. The band is building anticipation for what promises to be another heavy addition to their extensive discography.
