Iron Maiden frontman Bruce Dickinson is set to release a solo album in early 2024. The project is titled ‘The Mandrake Project,’ and the rocker recently announced the upcoming album’s details.
Being his first solo work since 2005, Dickinson revealed why this new album is so special for him and expressed his pride:
“This album has been a very personal journey for me, and I am extremely proud of it. Roy Z and I have been planning, writing, and recording it for years, and I am very excited for people to finally hear it.”
Along with the album, the rocker is also planning to put on shows to perform the songs on the new record. He said about touring:
“I’m even more excited at the prospect of getting out on the road with this amazing band that we have put together, to be able to bring it to life. We’re planning to play as many shows as we can in as many places as possible, for as many people as we can! As for what ‘The Mandrake Project’ actually is… all will be revealed soon!”
Though Dickinson plans to put on as many shows as possible, he recently shared some dates for a small tour, starting on April 18 in Mexico and ending on May 4 in Brazil. The remaining dates for the tour are yet to come. You can see the dates down below.
