Poison’s Bret Michaels will no longer be performing live next year.
After completing ‘The Stadium Tour’ in 2022, Michaels immediately transitioned into his ‘Parti-Gras’ festivals in 2023 without any breaks, and he is now continuing the success of the festivals by diving into his 2024 ‘Parti-Gras 2.0’ edition. But as it appears, no more shows will be coming after next year. The rocker stated:
“I’ve always stated that music is a universal language that is meant to unite us, excite us and never divide us. It is a soundtrack to our everyday lives and I truly look forward to giving every bit of energy I’ve got in 2024 and leave it all up there on the stage every night. However, in 2025, in light of some recent medical results and setbacks, and with much discussion and real advice from my doctors and family, I will be taking most, if not all, of 2025 off, except for a few select dates with both the Bret Michaels Band and possibly all-original Poison. I truly need to recharge the batteries and get a good, much-needed physical tuneup.”
Poison’s Still Going On Tour In 2025

Despite the recent statement, during an earlier interview, the Poison rocker had stated that he and the band would go on a stadium tour in 2025. In fact, the rocker shared the one plan he is sure will not disappoint any Poison fans. Discussing the upcoming shows following the band’s 2022 participation in ‘The Stadium Tour,’ he revealed:
“When we go back, I think in 2025, it’s always been, to me, all-original Poison. We’ll have C.C [DeVille, guitar] and Bobby [Dall, bass] and Rikki [Rockett, drums] and myself and go do another big stadium tour and arena tour in 2025.”
Michaels’ Struggles With Health Issues

This wasn’t Michaels’ first encounter with health issues. In January 2020, he revealed that he would be undergoing treatment for skin cancer, typically caused by exposure to the sun’s harmful rays. Bret didn’t specify the type or severity of his skin cancer but reassured fans that he was under the care of ‘amazing specialists’ and remained optimistic about the outcome.
We wish the rocker to get well soon!
