“Another day. Another hot rumor,” Lafon wrote. “Apparently, Tico Torres has retired from Bon Jovi. I asked everybody I knew that might know… and no one can confirm. So… this stays as unconfirmed rumor.”
The speculation gained additional attention from The Bon Jovi Talk Podcast. The podcast referenced comments suggesting significant changes within the band’s lineup.
The podcast’s social media account noted: “Wait….Has Tico retired? Apparently David said in the latest podcast with Jon that he and Jon started when they were 16 and now they’re the only two remaining in the band. If Tico is done, that’s the band done. Tico is the heart and soul of the band.”
