Bon Jovi makes a comeback with its first Top 40 hit in nearly 20 years.

Bon Jovi has had pop radio hits too. They’ve had more than a dozen hits on the Pop Airplay chart, but it’s been a while since their last one—until now, as Forbes reported.

This week, Bon Jovi entered the Pop Airplay chart at Number 36 with Pitbull. They teamed up for ‘Now or Never,’ which uses the chorus from their song ‘It’s My Life’ and turns it into a dance track.

Bon Jovi has earned its first top 40 hit on pop radio in nearly 20 years. Their last hit on the Pop Airplay chart was in 2006. Back then, they debuted ‘Who Says You Can’t Go Home,’ which spent 10 weeks on the chart and peaked at Number 30.

Now, ‘Now or Never’ is making waves. It’s climbing from Number 18 to Number 15 on the Adult Pop Airplay chart, its highest position. The song is also doing well on the Hot Dance/Pop Songs chart, staying at Number 11.

Pitbull has done much better than Bon Jovi on the Pop Airplay chart. He now has 40 top 40 hits, with ‘Now or Never’ making it to that milestone. A quarter of his songs have reached the top 10, and two of them have hit Number 1.

Forbes also previously reported that Bon Jovi made their first appearance on the Dance/Electronic Digital Song Sales chart, with ‘Now or Never’ debuting at Number 13. Pitbull is no stranger to this chart, with ‘Now or Never’ being his 29th song on the Billboard dance list.

‘It’s My Life’ was a big hit for Bon Jovi and helped them return to the top 40 after a five-year break. It reached No. 33, but it took years for them to have another hit like it.
