Evanescence singer Amy Lee is sure Bring Me The Horizon is one of the bands the future of heavy music will involve. In a new interview with Revolver, the rocker named the band as her favorite young band, which is carrying the torch for heavy music. Touching on the way the band’s innovative side, the singer shared:
“Well, they’re not too young, but kind of. I really love Bring Me the Horizon. They think young. They’re very innovative. I feel like [their music is] completely heavy, but it also has so much beautiful, tasteful pop influence. Which is so my jam.”
She went on to admire Bring Me The Horizon with a few more words:
“The melodies and the electronics and everything are so hooky. l really, really like that band a lot.”
Considering the bands similar to Bring Me The Horizon going from the same path with them, it’s possible for the rockers to hold their current successful place in the future as well.
Lee Is Also A Fan Of Two Other Trending Bands

Lee’s admiration for Bring Me The Horizon is evident, but the rocker has a soft spot for two other bands. Though they are fairly newer than BMTH, Lee’s respect for the two remains the same. Sleep Token and Spiritbox are the two bands Lee cannot get over.
Spiritbox singer Courtney LaPlante even had the chance to interview Lee, whom she called her longtime hero.
Lee’s love for Sleep Token is similar to her admiration for BMTH, especially their hit song, ‘The Summoning.’ Apparently, it took her three listens to figure out what Sleep Token was actually doing with their music, calling it a brain-tingling song. Additionally, she respects the band’s decision to stay anonymous:
“I think too much these days the focus is on everything but the music with a lot of the mainstream. And for me, if there’s not the music then what are we doing? That’s what this is supposed to be about. I love it. I think it’s awesome. It’s creative. It’s really cool.”
