HarperCollins Publishers has scheduled the release of ‘Brothers,’ a forthcoming book by the Van Halen drummer, Alex Van Halen, for October 22, 2024. The 384-page book falls under the category of ‘Biography & Autobiography’ and is currently listed at a price of $32.00.

Although no official announcements have been made about the book, with the recent announcement of the publisher, it seems we are to get the news soon.

The founders of Van Halen, Eddie, and Alex, were in the same band from 1973 to Eddie’s sudden passing in 2020. A reunion after the guitarist’s passing has rarely been in the talks until Sammy Hagar recently brought it up during an interview. Although Hagar wants to reunite with the Van Halen drummer, as he says, Alex does not want to perform without his brother:

“Mike and I, 20 years ago, did a reunion. And it’s been 20 years this year. I’m going, I don’t have another 20 years to be waiting on Alex Van Halen, who’s the only guy left. So he didn’t want to do it? You know, he, I guess, just doesn’t like playing without his brother. Don’t blame him. God bless him.”

Additionally, in early 2022, it was verified that Alex had engaged in discussions with David Lee Roth and guitarist Joe Satriani to organize a special tribute show in memory of Eddie. However, Wolfgang later clarified that the plans were ‘in such an early stage that it never even got off the ground.’
