Adam Lambert Teases Duran Duran Cover Of ‘Ordinary World’

The new cover album of Adam Lambert, which he announced to be full of ‘surprises’ and ‘varieties,’ will be meeting the audience on December 13. Lambert has already started promoting the upcoming record, which excited the fans, and Duran Duran’s ‘Ordinary Day’ is one of the songs he covered. The singer sang a brief part from the track on TikTok and shared a teaser on Twitter.

The short caption of the post reads, “Something’s coming, December 13.” He had revealed earlier that the album, which will be released under the name of ‘High Drama,’ has around 11 songs. Although only a few details about the album are known, it seems that ‘Ordinary Day’ will be one of the album’s highlights.

Adam Lambert is a musician who is praised for his acrobatic vocal range. Making a song cover takes courage, as you know, especially to interpret pieces that are already popular. However, Lambert has never hesitated to step in and has performed many different covers throughout his career, receiving excellent feedback in general.

The artist said in 2013 that his heart was not in making a cover album and that his main goal was to write new materials and discover new directions. Yet apparently, he has changed his mind. Judging by the audience’s excitement below the teaser, it was the right call. We’ll see what else will be on the album in three days.
