Adam Lambert Supports Project Angel Food To Raise $1.1 Million
Queen’s current live vocalist Adam Lambert earned the respect of the community by supporting a highly important charity event named ‘Project Angel Food.’
Adam is one of the few musicians who have been vocal about social and political issues, as well as human rights. Besides making sure that he defends everybody’s rights on social media, Adam also attends lots of charity events.
In addition to that, Adam Lambert also a non-profit organization, ‘Feel Something Foundation,’ back in late 2019 to support LGBTQ+ rights and make sure that they receive the necessary support from other organizations.
Project Angel Food, on the other hand, is a non-profit organization that was founded back in 1989 and has been operating since then in Los Angeles. The organization provides free food for the people who cannot cook or shop for themselves due to health problems.
To support the cause of Project Angel Food, Adam Lambert helped the organization raise over $1 million during the KTLA 5 show, which aired live on television as well as on social media and was hosted by Eric McCormack and Jessica Holmes.
Before the outbreak of the Covid-19 pandemic, Project Angel Food was handling about 1.500 deliveries per day. However, the number increased following last year and has now reached around 2.500 deliveries, which is why they organized the aforementioned charity event.
