Adam Lambert Shares His Two Favorite Queen Songs

Filling in Freddie Mercury’s shoes is challenging, but Adam Lambert does his best to front Queen + Adam Lambert with Brian May and Roger Taylor. In a recent interview with ET Canada’s Keshia Chanté, Lambert revealed two songs from Queen’s legendary music catalog he likes the most.

“I think, with the Queen songs, it depends on the mood I’m in,” said Adam Lambert, implying his favorite Queen songs are usually determined by his feelings at the moment. “So, ‘[Another One] Bites The Dust’ is one of my favorite recordings of theirs. It’s really fun to sing because it’s aggressive and fiery.”

“‘Somebody To Love’ has so much truth,” Lambert continued, revealing the second Queen song in his list. “I’ve been in so many points in my life where I was like, ‘I’m lonely.’ And it’s just such a universal message; I think everyone’s felt that way, like, ‘I want to be in love; who’s around?’ [laughs.]”

So, Adam Lambert thinks that ‘Another One Bites The Dust’ is an aggressive song he likes to listen to whenever he feels energetic. According to Lambert, ‘Somebody To Love’ has a universal message, which has been relatable to him at several points in his life. So, these two are the singer’s favorite Queen songs, as he can easily connect with them.
