30 Seconds to Mars frontman Jared Leto is facing serious allegations of sexual misconduct from multiple women. A detailed report published by Air Mail revealed these accusations.

The report, titled “The Cult of Leto,” details accusations from nine women regarding inappropriate behavior spanning several years.

Air Mail reported that nine women claim Leto “engag[ed] in inappropriate behavior over the years, including flirting with teenagers.” One woman said that “back in 2006, when she was 16 years old, Leto approached her outside of a café in Los Angeles.”

Leto’s representatives have issued a statement to media outlets in response to these allegations.

Us Weekly reported that “a spokesperson for Leto told Air Mail that he ‘has not had a drink or used drugs in over 35 years.”

The allegations have brought renewed attention to long-standing rumors about the actor and musician’s conduct with younger women. The Air Mail investigation represents the first time multiple accusers have come forward publicly with detailed accounts.

These recent accusations add to a pattern of concerning behavior that has been documented over nearly two decades. People revealed that one of the allegations involves a woman who claims that in 2006, when she was 16 years old, Leto approached her outside of a café in Los Angeles where he was sitting with fellow actor Ashley Olsen, who was then 19.

The accusations include more serious claims of inappropriate physical contact. Euronews detailed that another woman alleges that during a visit to Leto’s home when she was 18, he exposed himself and asked her to touch him inappropriately. The same report describes the alleged behavior as “predatory, terrifying behavior.”

The controversy has also resurfaced past social media activity from other Hollywood figures. Times of India noted that past social media posts from director James Gunn have resurfaced, referencing Leto’s alleged interest in young women. These tweets from 2018 have gained new attention in light of the current allegations.

One accuser has provided additional evidence to support her claims. Euronews reported that she shared an old Facebook post from 2012, alleging that Leto had assaulted her when she was 17. The allegations have sent shockwaves among fans of the Suicide Squad actor and raised questions about accountability in the entertainment industry.
