Wolfgang Van Halen Shares A Fan’s Complaint About How Inappropriate Van Halen Concerts Were

Former Van Halen bassist Wolfgang Van Halen shared a post on his official Instagram page revealing an old newspaper clipping in which a young fan’s mother complained about how inappropriate the concert of Van Halen was due to the people who were smoking pot, and the lyrics of the songs.

As many o you know, back in the days when rock and roll was the main deal when it comes to music, concerts and live show were the centers of attraction for many teenagers in addition to being the ultimate place for teenagers to drink alcohol and try drugs about which many parents were concerned.

Recently, Wolfgang Van Halen shared a post on his official Instagram page revealing a complaint written by a concerned parent which perfectly revealed how she was completely angry with other people at the concert of Van Halen since they all were offering her and her daughter pot.

In addition to this, the angry mother was also stressing the fact that Van Halen’s songs are disturbingly loud and also have disgusting lyrics according to her, and warned other parents to consider these facts before allowing their children to go to such a concert without their parents.

Here is what the parent said:

“I took my young teenage daughter and her friend to the Van Halen concert and was appalled at the entire atmosphere. It was as if we were at a pot party. They were smoking pot in the front, beside, and behind us. A man tapped on the shoulder and offered it to me. Another on the other side of my daughter offered it to her. Van Halen offered the crowd a revealed behind as well as the most disgusting four-letter words you can imagine. Please print this so parents who allow their young children to go unaccompanied may know what their sons and daughters are being subjected to. If you think this loud, and I do mean loud, music is disgusting, check the words used in the music. This type of concert should be advertised as R-rated. Also, what was the police checking people at the door for? Thank you.”

Here is what Wolfgang said:

“Heathens!”
