Tommy Lee’s Recent TikTok Video Concerned Mötley Crüe Fans About His Health And Sobriety
Mötley Crüe drummer Tommy Lee shared a post on his official Instagram page reposting a TikTok video posted by his wife Brittany Furlan Lee revealing Lee while he’s taking care of his numerous bonsai trees while Brittany is making a joke about his addiction background.
As many of you know, while Mötley Crüe was known for its members consuming excessive amounts of drugs, such as cocaine, heroin, and pills, Tommy Lee had a long addiction to alcohol as he opened up about during interviews several times. During an interview last year, Lee revealed his motive to drink heavily was mainly boredom and the first thing he would do in the morning was to pour alcohol and drink, not a couple of glasses, but nearly two gallons.

“I didn’t notice it until towards the end of it, when I was like, ‘Oh dude, I’ve got to stop. This is fucking insane.’Like, I was drinking just out of boredom. I would just wake up and be just building just all vodka and just a little eyedropper of cranberry or lemonade. I was drinking two gallons – not pints, not quarts, but gallons, the big-handles – a day. That’s fucking crazy.”
Fortunately, Mötley Crüe drummer has been sober for one and a half years, mostly thanks to his wife Brittany who expressed her worries about the issue to Tommy Lee who was convinced to go to rehab after seeing his wife concerned about his behavior.
Recently, Tommy Lee shared a video on his official Instagram page, revealing a TikTok post made by his wife Brittany Furlan Lee in which the legendary drummer is taking care of his multiple bonsai trees located next to a pool. While Brittany was sharing Lee’s brand new addiction to growing trees, she made a joke about his addiction history, stating that she’s happy that it’s not meth.

After being quite concerned seeing the word addiction next to Tommy Lee, some fans were worried about his health status and if he’s relapsing on his sobriety. However, most of the fans were thrilled to see Lee having new hobbies to spend his time with rather than drinking out of boredom.
