E Street Band guitarist Steven Van Zandt recently shared a post expressing his thoughts about the high ticket prices for the band’s upcoming concerts on his Twitter account. Van Zandt highlighted that there is nothing he can do about it.

Bruce Springsteen and his backing band E Street Band released their latest studio album ‘Letter to You‘ on October 23, 2020, and it got critical acclaim with its well-crafted sounds and lyrics. The usual process was promoting the record with concerts and tours worldwide, but it wasn’t possible because of the global pandemic. Thus, the group and the fans needed to wait for a few years until they heard an announcement about that.

Finally, a short time ago, Springsteen revealed that E Street Band’s new tour will kick off on February 1, 2023, in Tampa, ending on July 25, 2023, in Monza. Their longtime followers who looked forward to watching them live got happy and excited about the shows until they checked out Ticketmaster for ticket prices. They were between $60 and $399 but now rose to more than $4,000 because of the Ticketmaster dynamic pricing system.

Thus, it’s not surprising that the fans harshly criticized the situation, and many of them said they couldn’t purchase these tickets on their social media accounts and asked the band members to say something about this issue. Following a fan’s question about the high-priced tickets for their concerts on Twitter, Van Zandt responded to it, stating that he had nothing to do with Bruce Springsteen and E Street Band’s ticket prices.

A fan’s tweet read:

“I imagine you’re tired of answering questions for Bruce Springsteen, but you are the only one who regularly interacts with Twitter fans. Curious if you’ve seen the cost of tickets for the US tour? Several thousand for floor tickets. These are the Ticketmaster costs.”

Van Zandt responded:

I have nothing whatsoever to do with the price of tickets. Nothing. Nada. Niente. Bubkis. Dick.”
