Paul Stanley Says ‘This Is So F–ked Up’ Over New School Guidelines

KISS frontman Paul Stanley posted a recent tweet in which he harshly criticized the new guidelines discussed in the schools in Texas.

An administrator of the Carroll Independent School District in Southlake, Gina Peddy recently asked the teachers to do something controversial. She stated that if they have a book about the Holocaust in their classrooms, they should also make books from opposing perspectives accessible for the students.

Peddy made this statement during a training session about which books the teachers can have in their classroom libraries. Moreover, the reason for the training was a parent’s complaint about a fourth-grade teacher who kept an anti-racism book in her classroom. And now, the teachers in the Carroll school district fear being punished for keeping books dealing with racism, slavery, and the Holocaust in their classrooms.

NBC News recently posted a tweet on this subject. In the tweet, they also included an audio recording of the training secretly recorded by a Carroll staff member. Upon seeing this, Paul Stanley decided that he has to say something on this issue.

In a tweet he recently posted, Paul Stanley said that this is so ‘fucked up.’ He then stated that there will always be opposing views, but some subjects, such as the Holocaust, are facts and there is can’t be such thing as opposing facts when it comes to this.

NBC News’ tweet read:

“New: A school administrator in Southlake, Texas, advised teachers last week that if they have a book about the Holocaust in their classroom, they should also have a book with an ‘opposing’ perspective.”

Paul Stanley then responded to this in a tweet as:

“This is so fucked. There will always be ‘opposing views,’ but there are never opposing facts.
