Nikki Sixx Reflects On Vince Neil’s Live Show Failure And Mick Mars’ Health Status

Mötley Crüe’s Nikki Sixx recently responded to some fan questions through his Twitter account and expressed his excitement for the band’s upcoming Stadium Tour during which they’ll co-headline with Def Leppard, and said that he’s not worried about Mick Mars and Vince Neil’s performance.

As you probably know, in 2019 Mötley Crüe had announced their decision to reunite for a worldwide tour following the great success of their biographical film, ‘The Dirt.’ The Stadium Tour, during which they were planning to co-headline with Def Leppard was supposed to take place in 2020 but had to be postponed twice due to COVID-19.

The tour will now -probably- take place in 2022 and while fans had been counting the days to finally reunite with their favorite band, they came across a very heartbreaking performance; Vince Neil’s latest gig at the Boone River Valley Festival. No one expected Vince Neil to be at the top of his game but this was so bad that Vince Neil actually left the stage shouting ‘my f*cking voice is gone.’

On top of that, it is known that Mick Mars has been suffering from a chronic form of arthritis due to which he had to undergo a hip replacement. Thus, rightfully so, Mötley Crüe fans have been a little worried as the lead vocalist and guitarist clearly have some serious issues to deal with.

Recently, Nikki Sixx gave his fans the chance to ask some questions and most of the questions he received were about Mick Mars and Vince Neil’s health status. While Sixx said that Mick Mars is definitely healthy enough for the tour, he also reassured the fans that Vince will be fine. The fact that he’s been so busy with ‘Motley Crue business’ shows that everything is back on track and Vince is probably working out again.

Here’s what a fan said:

“Is Mick healthy enough for a 2022 Tour? And what shape is Vince in?”

And Nikki Sixx responded by saying:

Fuck yeah.”

This is what another fan asked:

“How have you been? Love ya.”

To which Nikki replied:

“I’m a little fried. New book. All the art for the book, new company I’m working on. Motley Crue business, kids, wife, dogs, and new Sixx A.M.”
