Oasis’ Liam Gallagher recently posted a tweet in which he argued that his band is way better than the Beatles, recalling their performances at Knebworth.
Liam Gallagher recently took to his Twitter after Manchester City’s Premier League title win over Aston Villa. The Oasis icon is a die-hard City fan, so he posted several tweets in a row celebrating the victory. After a while, he posted a tweet addressing former Liverpool defender Jamie Carragher.
In his tweet, Gallagher ironically asked Carragher his opinions about Manchester City’s title win and used harsh words about the former England defender. Upon seeing Gallagher’s tweet, Carragher stated that Manchester would never win the Champions League, and Oasis is ‘sh*te’ compared to the Beatles.
After seeing the heated Twitter spat, some Twitter users described it as a ‘celebrity boxing match’ and argued this is why Twitter is better than Facebook. Gallagher responded to these tweets and said he’s ready to have a night out with Carragher as he was probably angry.
Gallagher then slammed Carragher and even brought Gary Neville into the argument. He then argued that Oasis can ‘piss all over the Beatles.’ Moreover, Gallagher compared Oasis with the Beatles and questioned how many times the Beatles performed at Knebworth, recalling the record-breaking Oasis concerts at Knebworth in 1996.
Liam Gallagher’s tweet read:

After seeing Gallagher’s tweet, Jamie Carragher said the following:
“I’m saying you’ll never win the Champions League, and Oasis are sh*te compared to the Beatles. That work?”
In another tweet, he continued:
“Eh, Carra, you got sh*t banter for a scouser. F*cking hell. You’ve been hanging out with Neville too long, Oasis piss all over the Beatles. How many times did they do Knebworth?”
