Liam Gallagher: ‘Noel Gallagher Would Still Be A Roadie If It Wasn’t For Me’

In his recent tweets, Liam Gallagher hinted at his role in his brother Noel Gallagher’s rise to fame.
Liam took to Twitter on September 24, stating:
“Mind the gap though, ya bumbaclarts MCFC.”
This post, which seemed unrelated to his brother, led to an interesting exchange with followers. When a fan claimed Liam rode on his brother’s talent, Liam fired back, saying:
“Leave it out; if it wasn’t for me, he’d still be a roadie.”
Two days ago, Liam posted another tweet using the Jamaican slang he often uses on social media:
“BUMBACLARTS.”
Upon seeing this tweet, a fan urged him to reach out to Noel. Liam’s response was:
“I’ve called; he doesn’t want to know; he’s full of SHEET.”
Earlier this month, when asked about Noel’s recent six-month driving ban, Liam’s cheeky reply was that his brother ‘should be banned for life.’ Other past instances include Noel labeling Liam as a ‘squeaky toy that swears a lot’ and Liam calling Noel a ‘potato.’
However, the most talked-about subject when it comes to the Gallagher brothers is the prospect of an Oasis reunion. In a chat with BBC Radio 2’s Jo Whiley on June 18, 2023, Liam stated that any hopes of a reunion depend on a call from Noel, adding that Noel’s interest in reuniting the band might be connected to the promotion of his new album, ‘Council Skies.‘
Adding to the ongoing discourse, a tweet from Liam in April revealed his perspective on Noel’s choice to perform at smaller venues, suggesting that Noel struggles to deliver what fans truly want.
