Liam Gallagher Admits He May Act ‘Bratty, Or Ratty Or C*nty’
Oasis’ Liam Gallagher recently gave an interview to NME in which he revealed his thoughts on the way most people perceive him. Moreover, the musician confessed that he might be a little bit misbehaved sometimes.
Liam Gallagher achieved fame as the frontman of Oasis between 1991 and 2009, but he is also a successful solo musician since 2017. He began his solo career with the release of his debut record ‘As You Were,’ which turned out to be a great commercial success. Gallagher then released his second album, ‘Why Me? Why Not,’ in 2019, and continued enjoying success.
Throughout his career in Oasis, Gallagher made a name for himself with his vulgar behavior. He got banned from an airline after an argument in 1998, arrested and charged with assault after headbutting a fan during Oasis’ Australian tour, made controversial remarks about Americans, and set off a fire extinguisher in footballer Paul Gascoigne’s face.
At the 2010 Brit Awards, Gallagher even started swearing during his speech, dropped his microphone, and gave the award to an audience member. Keeping all these in mind, it’s safe to say that Gallagher is publicly known for his outspoken and controversial attitude. In a recent interview with NME, the musician revealed his thoughts on this perception of himself.
Speaking about how people perceive him, Gallagher told NME that it’s because of his actions. He then stated that he believes this is who he is as it’s not that hard to portray oneself any way you like. Moreover, the rock icon added that most people who appear as controversial figures are decent, but everyone has their days when they can be ‘bratty, ratty, or c*nty.’
In the interview with NME, Liam Gallagher said the following about his controversial public image:
“But that’s only my own doing. If you want to portray other things, it’s easy, but I guess this is who I am. I’d like to think most of us are f*cking decent people, but we all have our days when we can be a bit bratty, or ratty or c*nty.“
On October 1, 2021, Gallagher announced working on his third solo album titled ‘C’mon You Know.’ Scheduled to drop on May 27, 2022, the album features a song named ‘Everything’s Electric‘ co-written by Dave Grohl. Moreover, the musician performed the song at the 42nd Brit Awards on February 8, 2022.
