John 5 Compares His Solo Tour To Rob Zombie’s

During a recent interview with Sofa King Cool Online, John 5 explained the differences between being on Rob Zombie’s tour and his solo tour by expressing his excitement towards both of them.

John 5 has been playing with Rob Zombie ever since he asked the guitarist to play with him at Ozzfest 2005. The rocker released several albums with the band over the years and hit the road supporting their records. They recently put out their event studio album entitled ‘The Lunar Injection Kool-Aid Eclipse Conspiracy’ in March 2021, announcing that the tour would begin in 2022.

Apart from working with Rob Zombie, John 5 has his solo career, for which he released his tenth solo album entitled ‘Sinner’ on October 29, 2021. Previously, John 5 shared his opinions about playing with Rob Zombie and being in his band. He expressed his love for the band, saying he wished to be a part of it long ago. However, there is always a different feeling many musicians admit to having regarding their solo career and tenure with a band. Often, the contrast can be seen while performing on stage, either during a tour or a show.

In a recent interview, John 5 reflected on the differences between his solo tour and Rob Zombie’s tour. According to John 5, everything about the Rob Zombie tour is perfect, making it unbelievable. On the other hand, he talked about his solo tour, stating that the obscurity of what will happen next is fun for him. John 5 also expressed that he loves playing guitar so much that it becomes a great day whenever he performs on stage.

About the differences between his solo tour and Rob Zombie’s tour, John 5 stated that:

“Everything with Zombie is just top-level, a plus, perfect. It’s like, ‘Is this really happening?’ Everything is perfect. With mine, it is kind of like you wake up, and you never know what’s going to happen, which is fun too. I just love playing guitar, and whenever I get to play guitar and be on stage, it’s a great day.”
