Eric Clapton’s Daughter Sings In Honour Of Her Brother Conor Who Passed At Age 4

In her recent Instagram post, Eric Clapton’s daughter Ruth Clapton shared her ‘Circus’ performance on her late half-brother Conor’s birthday as a tribute to him. Clapton also stated that she will always love and remember Conor on her Instagram Stories.

As you might know, Eric Clapton and his Italian model girlfriend Lory Del Santo had a son named Conor on August 21, 1986. Unfortunately, Clapton’s son couldn’t pursue a long and happy life like the legendary musician’s other children. Conor passed away after falling out of an open bedroom window from an apartment’s fifty-third floor on March 20, 1991.

Clapton was devastated by Conor’s early and accidental death, and he reflected his pain and agony to his works. Thus, following the death of his four-year-old son, Eric Clapton wrote one of his best-known and most successful songs, ‘Tears in Heaven,’ as a tribute to him. Aside from her father, it is clear that Ruth Clapton also still feels sad about her half-brother’s passing at such a young age.

Eric Clapton’s daughter Ruth Clapton honored her late brother Conor by celebrating his thirty-sixth birthday and stressing that Conor will always be remembered on her Instagram Stories. Also, in her other account, Ruth Clapton Music, she performed Eric Clapton’s ‘Circus’ for Conor’s birthday, and reflected how much she loves him.

Ruth Clapton’s IG Stories read:

“For my brother Conor who would have been 36 today… Happy Birthday! You are still very much loved and remembered.
