E Street Band’s Steven Van Zandt Shares The Song That Saves His Life Everyday

E Street Band guitarist Steven Van Zandt recently posted a tweet to reveal the song he considered a ‘life-saver’ for every day of his life.

Besides lending his musical skills to Bruce Springsteen’s E Street Band, Steve Van Zandt likes to spend his pastime on social media. In his tweets, the musician reveals his opinions on the mainstream music scene, his fellow musicians, or political matters. For instance, Van Zandt recently expressed his thoughts on the Beatles movie ‘Help!’

On the other hand, Van Zandt also warned his fans about the current political environment in the US. According to the guitarist, the Republican Party was threatening the citizens’ freedom, so he urged his followers to take action and join him in ‘the war for the soul of America.’

Apparently, Van Zandt likes interacting with his followers pretty often by urging them to do something or joining in debates with them. In one of his recent tweets, the musician shared not a political issue nor a thought — he just revealed a ‘life-saving’ song he now likes the most.

In the tweet, Steven Van Zandt revealed that he currently starts every day listening to The Beach Boys’ song ‘That’s Why God Made The Radio.’ Released on April 25, 2012, the song was featured in the same-titled album of the band. According to Van Zandt, ‘That’s Why God Made The Radio’ is saving his life.

Steven Van Zandt’s tweet read:

“I now start every day with this. It’s saving my life.”
