Dee Snider Shares The Twisted Sister Album Inspired By Arnold Schwarzenegger

Twisted Sister frontman Dee Snider tweeted to respond to news about his appearance at 2022’s Arnold Sports Festival and named the album that famous actor Arnold Schwarzenegger influenced.

Twisted Sister released their third studio album, ‘Stay Hungry’ on May 10, 1984. It produced the band’s most famous songs, ‘We’re Not Gonna Take It’ and ‘I Wanna Rock,’ but the band members experienced several problems with the producer and record company.

However, the band figured out all of the problems, and it became one of the most successful Twisted Sister albums. In addition, ‘Terminator’ star Arnold Schwarzenegger used ‘We’re Not Gonna Take It’ as his campaign song for California gubernatorial election, and Snider performed the music to support the actor.

Snider unveiled that he was inspired by Schwarzenegger’s successful career as an actor and a bodybuilder during the campaign while working on ‘Stay Hungry.’ A short time ago, the singer confirmed that he would take place at the 2022 Arnold Sports Festival, which will start on March 3, in Colombus.

In his recent tweet, Snider emphasized that the Hollywood actor and the former Governor highly influenced him in the creation process of the whole hit album. It seems that both Snider and their fans are looking forward to their meeting at the festival’s finals, and he might perform the campaign song one more time.

Here’s what Muscle Insider’s Twitter account wrote:

“Did you know? Twisted Sister’s Dee Snider will be at the 2022 Arnold Sports Festival to kick off Saturday’s finals with a special performance!”

Snider responded:

“Fact: Arnold Schwarzenegger inspired the entire ‘Stay Hungry’ album.”
