Dee Snider Opens Up About What Geezer Butler Means For Black Sabbath

Twisted Sister frontman Dee Snider took his official Twitter account to share a new post and revealed his thoughts about Black Sabbath bass guitarist Geezer Butler.

Besides being a bass guitarist, Geezer was also the primary lyricist for Black Sabbath. With the legendary band, Geezer released over fifteen albums since 1970, and he has released three solo albums.

In the tweet, Dee pointed out that Geezer is a team player and said that all of the Sabbath members have credits in the songs, and there is no such thing as claiming ownership among them.

While showing one of the reasons why Black Sabbath become a legend, he also showed how a kind person Geezer is by saying that he reminded Ozzy when he forgat the inspiration source for the ‘Fairies Wears Boots’ song during an interview.

Here is what Dee Snider said:

“Geezer is a team player. They all have writing credit & there is no claiming ownership amongst them.

But in the documentary ‘The End,’ when Ozzy is asked where his inspiration is for the words to Fairies Wears Boots and he can’t remember, Geezer ‘reminds’ him.”
