Megadeth bass guitarist David Ellefson spoke in a recent interview with Rock Music Star and talked about the upcoming Megadeth album.

Back in February, Megadeth frontman Dave Mustaine revealed that they have actually completed the lyrics of the songs for the upcoming album and hyped up the community by saying that he is so excited about this record.

Even though Dave informed that the album is getting closer to the end, David stated that they won’t release the album until the coronavirus outbreak over because they couldn’t support and promote it afterward.

However, David thrilled the fans yet again by saying that they are in the finals of finishing the album and pointed out that there are only tiny things to handle right now.

Here is what David Ellefson said:

“I was actually just down there. I went to Nashville to just put a couple of little, tiny finishing touches on some stuff. We’re literally in the final hours of getting everything done. Obviously, COVID slowed things down.

Kiko lives over in Finland now, and there were some delays last year, just with travel and with everything shutting down. But me and Dirk got down there pretty quickly — by May and June, we were in there cutting tracks. It’s been good, though.”
