Dave Grohl Collaborates With Liam Gallagher On His New Song ‘Everything’s Electric’

Former Oasis star Liam Gallagher took his official Twitter account to announce that his new song, ‘Everything’s Electric,’ is out now, which also features Foo Fighters’ Dave Grohl on the drums.

As you know, Oasis decided to disband in 2009 despite their vast commercial success throughout their music career spanning over fifteen years. Liam Gallagher started a new project named Beady Eye after Oasis. He released two studio albums with the new band, but in 2014, they disbanded. Later on, in 2016, Gallagher revealed his intention to pursue a solo career.

He began recording his debut solo album, called ‘As You Were,’ in 2016, and it was released on October 6, 2017. It was a critical commercial success and debuted at No. 1 in the UK. It was followed by his second solo studio album, ‘Why Me? Why Not.’ released on September 20, 2019. The album’s lead single, ‘Shockwave,’ quickly became one of Gallagher’s hit songs.

His third solo album, ‘C’mon You Know,’ is scheduled to be released in May 2022. Liam Gallagher had announced around two weeks ago on his Twitter account that the upcoming album’s first single, called ‘Everything’s Electric,’ would arrive on February 4. He once again shared a Twitter post to announce that the single is now out on various platforms. The song is co-written by Dave Grohl, who also contributed to the drum parts.

Liam Gallagher’s Twitter post read:

“Morning brothers and sisters, here’s my new single ‘Everything’s Electric,’ from ‘C’mon You Know.'”
