Corey Taylor Addresses His ‘Feud’ With Machine Gun Kelly

In his recent interview with The Eddie Trunk Podcast, Corey Taylor opened up about his ongoing beef with Machine Gun Kelly. Also, the Slipknot frontman noted that he has already explained the real reason behind this feud on his Twitter account.

As you probably know, it’s been rumored that the ongoing feud between Corey Taylor and Machine Gun Kelly began when Taylor criticized the musicians who decided to turn to rock music after their R&B or hip-hop records failed to enter the charts. Therefore, some argued that the Slipknot frontman targeted Kelly, who had released his rock album a short time ago.

MGK responded to Corey Taylor, saying that he felt lucky about not being a 50-year-old who wears a weird mask. Then, Taylor implied that he was behaving like a child. Even though most people regarded Taylor’s words as the beginning of this feud, Taylor’s wife Alicia claimed that Kelly started everything with his controversial statement about rock stars.

Also, Corey highlighted in his recent tweet that MGK attacked him because he denied his and Travis Barker’s offer for a possible collaboration. After he reminded Eddie Trunk of his post, Taylor stated that he doesn’t want to talk about this feud anymore. It seems like the frontman considers Kelly’s response ridiculous and childish.

Taylor said in his interview that:

“Honestly, everything I wanted to say, I said in my post, and if I give it any more air, it will feel like I’m trying to propagate it. So, I’ll just let that go, and this will remind people that we’re Slipknot. That’s gonna happen.”

Taylor’s tweet read:

“I don’t like people airing private shit like a child. So this is all I’ll say: I didn’t do the track because I don’t like when people try to ‘write’ for me. I said no to them. So without further ado…. This is all I’m going to say about it.”
