Alice Cooper Says It’s Really Hard To Believe That Johnny Depp Was Violent Against His Ex-Wife

Iconic musician Alice Cooper opened up about the allegations of violence against his ex-wife actress Amber Heard which targetted both actor and musician Johnny Depp during an interview with NME and revealed that Johnny is the most gentle and harmless people he has ever met.
As many of you might know, Johnny Depp began dating actress Amber Heard when the two met on the set of the movie ‘The Rum Diary’ in 2009. The couple got married 6 years after, in February 2015, however, Heard filed for divorce from Depp in May 2016, and obtained a temporary restraining order against him, allegedly stating that Depp was verbally and physically abusive throughout their relationship, usually while under the influence of drugs or alcohol.
Johnny Depp, on the other hand, denied the allegations and revealed that Heard was attempting to secure a financial resolution by making such accusations. Eventually, a settlement was reached in August 2016, and the divorce was finalized in January 2017.
Despite the divorce happened and their relationship is over, the after-effects can still be seen in various social media platforms and newspapers since some people believed Amber Heard and supported a woman who was being abused by a man, while some believed Depp was genuine and was quite angry at Heard for accusing somebody with such a crime.
During a recent interview, Alice Cooper opened up about his bandmate’s situation and revealed that Johnny Depp is his best friend and he knows Depp quite close, the man he knows is one of the most gentle, harmless, and kind people he’s ever seen, to believe that he’s turning into a monster is a far option according to Cooper.
Here is what Cooper said:
“First of all, here’s a prime example: Johnny Depp. Johnny Depp and I are best friends. I’ve never seen him lift a finger against anybody. He’s one of the most gentle people. And all of his former girlfriends and wives say the same thing. So it’s really hard to believe that all of a sudden he’s gonna turn into this monster. And I know the guy — I’m with the guy on tour all the time. He’s one of the most gentle, harmless people I’ve ever met.”
