Alex Van Halen Says ‘Wolf Is Killing It’ In His Birthday Message To Eddie

January 26 would have been Eddie Van Halen’s 67th birthday, and many people paid their tributes to him on that special day. His brother, Alex Van Halen also broke his silence and stated in his message that his son, Wolfgang Van Halen, has been doing a great job.

As you know, the legendary guitarist Eddie Van Halen passed away on October 6, 2020, at the age of 65, following a long battle with cancer. His death shocked and deeply saddened the music world since the musician is regarded as one of the greatest guitarists of all time and left an unforgettable legacy behind him.

His son, Wolfgang Van Halen, also followed his father’s steps and built a reputation as a successful solo musician. He was heavily influenced by his father and became interested in music at a young age. He performed with Van Halen for years, and he is now focusing on his solo project, Mammoth WVH. Wolf received very positive reviews with his debut album and certainly satisfied the expectations.

On his birthday, Eddie received lots of messages on social media from his family and friends. His brother, Alex Van Halen, shared a brief statement on Twitter via Van Halen News Desk and also Van Halen’s website as he doesn’t have any social media accounts. Alex wished his late brother a happy birthday and said that he has really missed him. Alex added that Wolfgang has been doing a very good job, which would make Eddie very proud and happy.
