Aaron Lewis On Getting Himself Ready To Make Another Staind Album

Aaron Lewis, the powerful frontman of the band Staind, recently opened up to Billboard about how he mentally prepared himself to dive back into the world of making music with Staind. After a decade-long hiatus, the band is gearing up to release some more ear-thrashing tunes, and we’re here to give you the inside scoop.

Lewis has been the driving force behind Staind, a band known for their emotionally raw lyrics and hard-hitting sound. Staind released their self-titled album back in 2011, which was a banger of a record that left fans wanting more. The band didn’t disappoint, as they came back with a vengeance in 2021, releasing their live album ‘Live: It’s Been a While.’

In a recent tell-all, Aaron spoke about the process of getting himself ready for another Staind album. He revealed that he felt burnt out from constantly delving into the darkest parts of his mind to deliver those spine-chilling songs in a believable and authentic manner. Lewis knew that he needed to step away from the creative process for a while and focus on delivering a live album to satisfy the hunger of his fans.

He said:

“It’s taken me a long time to be ready to do another Staind record. I got really burnt out on digging into the dark corners of my psyche every night to deliver those very deep, dark songs in a manner that was believable and authentic. I needed to step away from it for a while and do something different. It just came back together naturally.”

The musician is ready to step back into the spotlight and unleash a new Staind album upon the world. ‘Confessions of the Fallen’ was recently announced, and the fans cannot wait to hear it. In fact, the sneak peek, a song from the album ‘Lowest In Me’ was just released. After taking a well-deserved break to recharge his creative batteries, Lewis has found the inspiration. Stay tuned because it’s about to get loud.
